Theresa (Tara) A. Bulicz
Born in Canton, Ohio passed away on September 5, 2017. She was a graduate of Canton South High School and Walsh University with a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Theresa enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking especially xmas cookies, traveling, working on fundraisers, Jeopardy and trivia shows. She retired from the Stark Co. District Library after 30+ years of service as Payroll/Benefits Coordinator and previously was employed by Clarkins at Whipple, Sears. Tara was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Parish, 20 year member of American Business Women's Association, Hall of Fame Charter Chapter where she held many offices and was named Woman of the Year. She received national recognition as chapter newsletter editor. She was also a member of the American Polish Lowland Sheepdog Club (APONC) and worked on fundraisers at National Specialties.
Preceded in death by her parents Stanislaw and Irene Bulicz; grandparents; several canine companions; most recently her beloved Polish Lowland Sheepdog, Saszia. She is survived by sister, Linda Bulicz of Canton; niece, Stephanie Viczi of Haymarket, Va.; nephew, Jeffery Salewsky of Canton; niece and God-daughter, Elizabeth Salewsky of Canton; great-nephew, Joshua Balmer of Fla.; great-niece, Alexius Gunning of Va.; aunt, Jeanette Layton of Canton; numerous cousins and dear friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday September 15, 2017 at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church1530 11th St. SE Canton, Ohio 44707 with Fr. Tom Kraszewski officiating. ALEXANDER JOSEPH ARUNSKI age 21, cherished son of Anthony J. and Kristin; dearest brother of Anna and Andrew; treasured grandson of Jeanette (nee Holecek) and the late Clarence Layton; dear nephew, cousin, and friend of many. Al was born on April 11, 1995 in Cincinnati and passed away on June 11, 2016. He graduated from Mayfield High School. Al loved guitar and music. He also loved animals, especially his dogs. Al will be remembered by his family and friends as a funny and jovial man, who cared for people and their needs. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, June 18, 2016 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Burial will take place at 1 PM at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon, OH. Irene B. Bulicz (Arunski)
Irene Bulicz, 85, passed away on December 23, 2015 at Canton Christian Home. Irene was born on March 15, 1930 in Canton, Ohio. She graduated from Timken High School and was a member of the alumni association. She was employed by the Timken Company, and later by Canteen Corporation and Sanese Services. She also served as manager of the Polish American Citizens Club. She was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Parish. Irene was an avid gardener, voracious reader especially of mystery novels, pet lover, and excellent baker and cook. She loved preparing Polish recipes.
In addition to her parents, Ted and Cecelia Arunski, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanislaw (Stanley), December 2, 1973. Also preceding were brothers, Alexander, Theodore, Leonard, Edward, and sisters, Florence and Martha.
Irene is survived by her daughters, Theresa (Tara) Bulicz and Linda Bulicz Salewsky of Canton; grandchildren, Stephanie (Steve) Finch of Haymarket, VA; Jeffery (Nicole) Salewsky, Elizabeth Salewsky; step grandson, Clete (Minerva) Salewsky all of Canton; great grandchildren Joshua Balmer and Alexius Gunning of Haymarket, VA; step great grandchildren Landon Salewsky, Mattison and Parker Spitza; sisters-in-law Katherine Arunski and Jeanette Layton; numerous nieces and nephews; and her Pekingese companions, Ava and Yogi.
Her wishes were to be cremated. A memorial mass will be held on January 5, 2016 at 11AM at St. Anthony/All Saint Parish 1530 11th St SE, Canton, OH 44707 with Rev. Fr. Thomas Kraszewski officiating.
